Description

Panchpokhari Gosainkund Langtang trek is one of the interesting, charming treks and less touristy treks. This trek holds the great nature beauty. This trek is very difficult accessible in the spring. There are five lake around. There is a shiva temple. We find in March April rhododendron flowers.
Gosainkund is a very popular and holly lake in hinduism and buddhism. Once a time there arised a debate between demons and Gods when very dangerous poision produced at the time of producing immortality syrup (Amrit) then no of them wanted to take the poisioneous substance which was going to spoil the world then after Lord Shiva decided to drink this subtance. Shiva drank it and put on his throat. Lord Shiva has felt uneasy and came to this mountain. Shiva pull water out from the earth with his weapon Trisul. This water spring still now you can observe it. If the lake remain calm you can see image of Lord Shiva in middle the lake.
This area holds two times in a year great festivals. These festivals are very importants for samsism.
This covers Langtang valleyl. One of the prety valleys. You can observe Kyanjin Monastry. View of Langtang, Ganesh himal, Lang sisa ri, Yabru himal, Dorje Lakpa/Dokpo, Langup, Morimoto peak. Langsisa: In Sherpa language Lang = ox sisa= death so it is place of an ox died and the ox converted into stone ox which you can observe till today. There are holly flags on it.
Ama Agri: ama means mother and Agri her name: Once A weman died on this peak and her three sons has constructed a stupa where they had found her died body. It is very good view point of this area.

Day 05: Trek from Dhotre to Chhojedanda.

Day 07: Trek from Helle Kharka to Pati or Dharma Sala.
Day 08: Trek from Dharma Sale to Pancha Pokhari to Dharma Sala.
Day 09: Trek to Tamang Village.

This price includes: Trek in full board. All indicated visits and transfers, a professional guide- English speaking and a porter for the luggage of 2 person, reception at airport, transfers airport/hotel/airport, permits and entrance fees in national parks/ conservation area projects, transportation to/ from trek, tourist standard hotel in Kathmandu on bed and breakfast basis.
