Description

Helambu Gosainkund trekking one of middle level trekkings. This trekking requires trekking experience and a good physical form. There are mix ethic villages. Trekking from Sundarijal ascend to Chisopani, Gulbhanjyang, Mangegot, Tharepati, Melamchi goan and onward to Gosainkund.
Melamchigoan, Sherpa village is one of very nice villages. Many year before Sangepa Ripoche has done retreat in this place. We call today guru Ripoche cave.
Gosainkund is a very popular and holly lake in hinduism and buddhism. Once a time there arised a debate between demons and Gods when very dangerous poision produced at the time of producing immortality syrup (Amrit) then no of them wanted to take the poisioneous substance which was going to spoil the world then after Lord Shiva decided to drink this subtance. Shiva drank it and put on his throat. Lord Shiva has felt uneasy and came to this mountain. Shiva pull water out from the earth with his weapon Trisul. This water spring still now you can observe it. If the lake remain calm you can see image of Lord Shiva in middle the lake.
This area holds two times in a year great festivals. These festivals are very importants for samsism.

Day 04: Patibhanjyang to Gulbhanjyang 2145m
Day 05: Gulbhanjyang to Tharepati 3275m
Day 06:Tharepati to Melamchigaon 2650
Day 07: Melamchi Goan to Ghopte 3430m
Day 08: Ghopte to Gosainkund 4380m
Day 09: Gosainkund rest
Day 10: Gosainkund to Sin Gompa 3250m
Day 11: Sin Gompa to Shyabru 2250m
Day 12: Shyabru to Dhunche 1950m
Day 13: Dhunche to Kathmandu in bus night in hotel
Day 14: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 15: Transfer to airport

This price includes: Trekking in full board. All indicated visits and transfers, a professional guide- English speaking and a porter for the luggage of 2 person, reception at airport, transfers airport/hotel/airport, permits and entrance fees in national parks/ conservation area projects, transportation to/ from trek, tourist standard hotel in Kathmandu on bed and breakfast basis.
